Nice photo, but incorrectly captioned. This is one of the three VU-35A transports (2710, 2711 and 2712) that were discharged from the GTE (Special Transport Group) and modified for reconnaissance as R-35AM. They were delivered to the 1º/6º Aviation Group at Recife in 2011. Please note longer tip tanks, modified tail cone with large sensor, new vertral strakes and R-35AM designation written on tail.
