Notes:

Welcome to Manchester, Corinne. This bird has a little history -- and the registration does, too. N624FE belonged to a FedEx 747-123 that used to be N804FT with the Flying Tigers, and was originally delivered as N9899 to Delta Air Lines on 30 September 1971. That 747 went from Delta, back to Boeing, to the Flying Tiger Line and eventually to Federal Express (FedEx) under N624FE in the purple dress before ending her life with Polar Air Cargo as N857FT in 1995. This frame, meanwhile, was delivered to Swissair 3 March 1991 as HB-IWA. To "Swiss" when the proud airline changed hands, and finally sold to FedEx in 2002. Freighter conversion finished 23 December 2004 and named "Corinne." I always wanted to see the Swiss MD-11s.
