Del. MALEV June 26 1971, as the second stretched A variant with 76 passenger capacity in fleet. Inaugural flight 2 July 1971 BUD-CPH-ARN. This particular plane was the first to be painted in new MA livery in 1989. November 19 1994 – after a night flight from Beirut, Lebanon – nose gear failure on landing during the morning training flight. Crew cut a hole on the floor using a cabin axe and repaired the jammed well-door before landed successfully. Never flew again. WFU with 32.661 flight hours and 24.096 completed landings. Scrapped Jan-Feb. 1997. Scanned from an old slide.
