After over 3 decades of service, this 1979 built jetliner is looking as clean as a brand new plane! In January 2014, Delta retired all their DC-9s, while most DC-9s are to be scrapped, this one(N779NC) is now preserved in the Carolina Aviation Museum. Notice a "hidden" 757 lifting off in the background. Taken at sunset.
