The Rudra (Hindu god of Storms) is an armed version of the Advanced Light Helcopter. The chopper was formally handed over to the Indian Army during Aero India 2013. Rudra is armed with a swing 20mm French Nexter gun, air-to-air and air-to-ground short range missiles and a 70mm rocket system. It is also equipped with the SAAB Integrated Defensive Aids Suite (IDAS) with Electronic Warfare self-protection fully integrated into the glass cockpit.
