[1600px] A panoramic vista of McCarran Airport is provided courtesy of seat 2F aboard an Alaska Airlines 737 as we prepare to join the downwind to runway 7R. Of note in this photo: construction of Terminal 3, which is now home to all international carriers serving LAS, as well as several domestic airlines, has yet to even begin. Also, it's interesting to note the 30+ US Airways aircraft parked at the A/B concourses. US shuttered its former America West hub here in the wake of the 2008 fuel crisis, but at this point in the summer of 2007, it was still nearly at its peak, offering over 200 daily flights to 70+ international and domestic markets.
