RAAF 37 Sqn C-130J-30 A97-468 Cn 382-5468 did a ‘stealthy night-time arrival’ at Avalon during the fireworks display. The Hercules then crossed Avalon's Rwy 18/36 heading West, and generated her own fireworks, by firing a burst of ‘Infra-red self-protection’ flares. This photo was taken at 2056 hrs during the finale of the 2013 Avalon International Night Airshow on Friday 01Mar2013. (A long ‘Wall of Fire’ followed, to close the Night show.)
