Sad picture from 1998: saying good-bye to the last elements of the Tupolev fleet, guiding the Hungarian civil aviation into the jet era, back in 1969. Who thought, things turn into even worse and tragic. Fourteen years later the Hungarian national airlines ceased its operations after 66 years of sometimes cloudy, however mostly glorious activity. This old slide is dedicated to those employees, co-workers and partners, who lost everything on February 3, 2012. For the memory of MALEV Capt. Ásin Alajos.
