Close cropped view of Qantas B737-476 VH-TJS Cn 24444, on final approach to Rwy 35 at Canberra Airport on 31Jan2012. Photo taken using a Canon EOS 40D and Canon 100-400 zoom lens. In October 2012, I took similar photos to test a new EOS 7D camera. VH-TJS, Named ‘Jabiru’, flew from Canberra to Melbourne as QF819 and was withdrawn from service on 23Feb2014. This was the last Qantas B737-400 revenue service. VH-TJS was Delivered to Qantas on 16Apr1993 in Australian Airlines livery. After retirement, she departed Melbourne for Victorville California on 05Mar2014 as QF6025, along with sister-ship VH-TJX.
