Built in 1943 this aircraft served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam as 43-22653 before being put onto the US register as N9042Z and then went onto Airspray in Canada as C-GPTW. It was offered up for sale and then transported to Bankstown NSW for restoration to airworthy status by Nick Leach. However that was not to happen and the aircraft now resides at the Australian Aviation Museum at Bankstown and will be restored to static only.
