Saudi replaced the 744 on the HKG service with the 743 for a few weeks in 2010 which was fantastic as even back then passenger 747 classics were rare (especially RR-powered ones). I’ve always been a big fan of the Saudi scheme. They operated RUH-HKG-MNL-HKG-RUH.
