Notes:

"City of Dunedin" seen here just after push back ready for the long 12 hour 45 minute haul back to Auckland as "New Zealand Five". This shot is a special one for me as Air New Zealand has only two 747's remaining in its fleet, also the 747 has not been scheduled to operate in LAX since the arrival of the 777-300s which have taken over the NZ1/2 and NZ5/6 rotations. The 747 is due to remain in the ANZ fleet for the next two years as cover until the 787's are delivered. Today the 747 was back at LAX to cover for the famous ZK-OKQ which was supporting the All Blacks on tour in Argentina.
