M-96 Iryda. In 1997 a version M-96 arose, with the rebuilt wing (with flaps of Fowler and the tailplane and the avionics of the Sextant Avionique company), which they test-flied with 16 August 1997. From 2010 placed on the base as the monument in Mielec.

Once again every time I see pictures of this baby it brings tears to my eyes. This was such a great plane, such a great design and it all was destroyed by some politician decision. Now years later PolAF is looking for a new trainer plane to replace Ts-11 Iskra andare having yet again political issues and don't know what to buy. If they only finished this plane then they would not have any problems today. But Poland is the best when it comes to wasting money on great projects and never following through. Shame on Polish politicians that don't support Polish aviation industry!!!!
