Notes:

The Highlight of the 2012 Farnborough Airshow flying displays on the two public days was Avro Vulcan G-VLCN / XH-558. The Vulcan’s display was the last on the Flying Program on both days. On Sunday 15Jul2012, the ‘Spirit of Great Britain’ Stole the Show. After landing, the Pilot maintained a nose high attitude on roll-out (and didn’t use a brake parachute.) The Camo livery works well with Farnborough Airport hangars in the background. The previous time I saw a Vulcan fly was Sister-Ship XH559 at the RAAF 50th Anniversary Airshow at Laverton, Victoria, Australia on 18April1971.
