Notes:

The German Air Force Phantom crews have a nice habbit of decorating their aircraft when they are on specific missions abroad. This F-4F Phantom II (38+48, cn4747) has been marked with some Icelandic 'Spook' artwork on the splitter plate from a recent "Icelandic Air Policing"-exercise (i.e. a NATO operation conducted to patrol Iceland's airspace). Luftwaffe F-4F Phantom IIs from Jagdgeschwader 71 "Richthofen" were detached to Keflavik Air Base from 5th March till 2nd April 2012.
