| Remarks: It was 11 o'clock at night and I was getting ready to bed. The phone rang and Igor said: "There is a Qantas 744 at GIG". Before I could answer I heard a beep. It was Rogerio calling from GIG. He says: "Qantas just parked at the gate and it is the F1 livery". I then put some clothes on and drove as fast as I could (I live about 50 minutes out) to GIG, just in time to get the pushback. Needless to say this is a very very rare visitor that comes once a year on a charter flight. I beleive it was worthwhile just to be there and see this very nice airplane with such special livery. Dedicated to Rogerio Salvador and Igor Santorsula that warned me about it and to Fabio Ferreira that tagged along. |
