A first of it's kind from the VFC-12 Naval Air Station "Fighting Omars" in Va.Beach, Virginia. Just painted in the Splinter Motif after the Sukhoi Su-35. Paint creator AD3 Darrall Taylor. Here's she is on taxi to 21L where she did a low pass takeoff for the pilot's family on the ramp area and then high tailed it out of here.

Wow...great capture of an unusual paint scheme for the Hornet. Very clear shot with some great lighting. BTW, Congratulations on making past the 500 mark on jets!
