Remarks: A New Era. For the first time, the new Terminal 3 at McCarran Airport is open to the public. At a cost of $1.6 Billion, this modern new facility features a total of 14 new gates (7 domestic, 7 international) and over 1.9 million square feet of space. When T3 officially opens for business on June 27, 2012, it will be the home of all foreign flag carriers, as well as Alaska Airlines, Frontier, jetBlue, Sun Country, Virgin America, Hawaiian Airlines and United.
