Notes:

JFK hosts its first Space Shuttle (Enterprise, which actually never flew in space) as N905NA ferries it on its way to a stay at the Sea-Air-Space Museum at the USS Intrepid in Manhattan. The craft will remain docked to the 747 for two weeks after which it will be taken by barge to Manhattan. Here, in this head-on view, the jet and shuttle emerge from clouds during a very low flyby over runway 31L (1260x980 pixels).
