JFK hosts its first Space Shuttle (Enterprise, which actually never flew in space) as N905NA ferries it on its way to a stay at the Sea-Air-Space Museum at the USS Interprid in Manhattan. The craft will remain docked to the 747 for two weeks after which it will be taken by barge to Manhattan. Shown here as the jet gave a very low pass flyby prior to landing on 31L (1200x800 pixels).
