| Remarks: [Canon 7D + Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM] Dusk has settled on SXM and US1563, as we make the turn back towards Charlotte, NC and the US mainland. One can tell how small the island of St. Maarten is, as its 87 sq km (33.6 sq mi) area easily fits into the frame. The airport runway is located in the thin strip of land just left of the wingtip, and Maho Beach lies on the left end of the runway.
