Technik Museum Speyer. OK-GLI was a test vehicle in the Buran program and was used for atmospheric test flights to test the orbiter's gliding capabilities, i.e., it was the equivalent of the Shuttle Enterprise. Unlike the Enterprise, OK-GLI was equipped with four SU-27 engines so it could take off under its own power. It performed 25 test flights between 1985 and 1988 from Baikonur.
