Photo taken looking forward in Upper Deck, Business Class, Zone F (54 seats), after a 12.9 hour 'Night' flight from London. This new aircraft, First Registered in Australia on 08Mar2011, operated QF10 from London to Singapore and Melbourne 27-29Jun2011. Even though more than half of the flight was in daylight, the window shades were kept down and 'Night Lighting' was on for a nominal 'Night Flight', where Dinner was served an hour after departure (after sunset), and Breakfast was served an hour before landing in Singapore (at about 1630 hours Singapore time). The 'subterfuge' worked. I slept during most of the flight.
