Brand new type for Everts Air Cargo. This DC-9 was built in 1969 with Martinair Holland as first operator and was, by incredible coincidence, the first aircraft I ever flew in, more than 20 years ago.

This aircraft was leased and operated in the mid 1980's by Muse Air. It was affectionately known as "Spike" because, compared to the newer MD80's that Muse flew, Spike was a "dog". The rampers did not appreciate fully the worn baggage bins whose fiberglass floors worked up into their pants and skin. People on the Muse Air facebook page are quite astonished that, apparently, this aircraft is still flying!
Nice shot young man !
