A little more then a month after I clicked this Beauty, the owner of this Aircraft ,Nomads travel club, the only travel club in The United States to own its own aircraft filed for Bankruptcy! How sad to see this iconic way of travel come to an end!

I am a former NOMAD member and this may be the last photo taken of our plane as it appears on the website. We heard that our beloved plane was eventually sold for scrap, but another rumour surfaced that the FBI had bought it. In any event, there was no other passenger plane like it on the planet. If memory serves me right, NOMADS previously owned a DC7 and an Electra or two before our 727 was purchased.
