This airplane was repaired after a crash landing in New York, under the ownership of Capital Airlines, around 1959. It was subsequently bought, repaired and operated by Westair Transport for a brief time. Westair went out of business about 1961. One of the chief executives of Westair, Tommy Thompson, later procured the certificate of operations from Johnson Flying service, based out of Missoula Montana. This certificate then formed into Executive Jet Air Inc., out of Miami, Florida. Business partners included Jimmy Stewart, Curtis LeMay, Paul Tibbets, Arthur Godfrey and Tommy Thompson.
