RF-111C A8-126 flew the last RAAF Airshow F-111 displays at Williamtown on 18/19Sep2010. This photo shows a rear view of a High Speed Pass in sunny conditions on Saturday 18Sep2010, over Williamtown's Rwy 30. The wings are swept back to 72 degrees for this high speed/ high 'G' run. The after-burners are lit and the horizontal stabilisers have plenty of deflection. A wisp of fuel is visible from the dump valve a few seconds after it was closed to shut-down a Dump and Burn demonstration. The RAAF will retire the remaining F-111 aircraft in December 2010, after 37 years Service from 1973. The type is being replaced by F/A-18F Super Hornets.
