Cockpit first prototype Tu-114. This aircraft used Soviet premier Nikita Khruschev flew non-stop from Moscow to New York in september 1959. The stairways available for use with standard U.S. airliners were not high enough to reach the fuselage side doors on the Tu-114! I'm very pleased that after more than 50 years, this plane stands as a museum.
