On the first night of the UK airspace flight ban. Manchester Airport is stacked full with aircraft going nowhere. There was an eerie silence while I took these shots. No engine noises, no bagage carts clattering around and no aircraft landing or taking off. This will be one of my most memorable nights at Manchester.
