RAAF 38 Squadron DHC-4A Caribou A4-299 Cn 299 taxies in after a flying display at Cooma Airport YCOM during the 'Snow Opening' Airshow in May 1986. This aircraft was one of the last RAAF Caribous to be Retired, in Nov 2009, after the Type Served the RAAF for 45 years (1964-2009). This achievement is overshadowed by the C-47B, where individual aircraft served in the RAAF continuously for over 50 years. Low res close cropped photo.
