In this close-cropped view of taxying RAAF Avon Sabre VH-PCM (A94-983), the aircraft is 'Outlined' by the then new Australian Airlines Boeing 737-376 VH-TAH. The 'Sword' (Delivered in Nov 1957) was transferred to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) in Dec 1971, but was returned to the RAAF in 1978. She is shown in the colours of the 75 Squadron 'Black Diamonds' Aerobatic Team. ( I think the Pilot on this occasion was 'Higgy'.) Early in 2006, the aircraft was allotted to the Temora Aviation Museum for restoration to Flight Status. (Her First Post-Restoration Flight [as VH-IPN] was at Temora on 16July2009, after being grounded for 16 years).
