Rare low res Wing View, looking at Mt Ranier from US Navy VR-57 Skytrain II 159114 (Code RX-114), In-Flight between Monterey CA (KMRY) and Boeing Field Seattle WA (KBFI). Students from DRMEC, Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Monterey, were going on a visit to Boeing Renton, WA. The flight to Boeing Field, which also passed over Mt St Helens, took 1.6 hours. (Boeing regulaly used Mt Ranier as the backround for Air to Air photos of their new aircraft.) Apologies for the low quality of this 20 year old photo.
