Notes:

Saying goodbye to a place that's very special to me, this was our final view of Madeira as myself and fellow photographer Tom Gautier (Expert Pedestrian) head home after an awesome week in Funchal with the Bristolian git that is Adam Spalding (WAC). This is my 2000th image on JP, so as with my 1000th there are a few people I'd like to mention. Tom Gautier again, who I've spent many a happy hour at various airports with. Ben Rowley, Danny Jones, Steve Preston, Jordan Appleson and Tom Morley who are a bunch of legends, and Adam Spalding, who’s pretty much the most amazing friend I could ever wish for. Thankyou for everything guys. This one’s for all of you!

Congratulations on reaching the 2000 mark! From what I've heard about this little island this is a very fitting photo to mark it with. I'll be joining the Madiera club in a few weeks! Hope to meet up soon but in the meantime keep up this great work!

Congrats on the 2000th shot, it's a good one! Hopefully many more to come!

A very big and well deserved congratulations on reaching this significant milestone! Your 2000th picture is indeed a very ‘appropriate’ image and sums up some of the great moments we have shared over the past couple of years. You have in recent times provided myself and a number of other people with some invaluable advice and guidance but more importantly than all of this, friendship. As I see it mate, it shouldn’t be you thanking us Paul, it should be us thanking you. Congratulations once again.
