| Remarks: Australians commemorated Anzac Day on 25 April 2009. In Canberra, the Anzac Day Parade and Marchpast was at the Australian War Memorial, with the Governor General, Prime Minister and Chief of the Defence Force attending. After the playing of the 'Last Post', three RAAF F/A-18 Hornets from 2OCU (81 Wing) Williamtown NSW performed this Formation Flypast - over Parliament House, Anzac Parade, the AWM and Mt Ainslie. The lead aircraft was A21-14, with wingmen A21-51 at right , and F/A-18B A21-112 at left. (The Australian Flag on Parliament House is a 'Half Mast', and Note the Hornet Assymetric wing tanks.) Photo taken from Mt Ainslie Lookout. Lest We Forget. |
