This Pacer started life (in 1956, registered in the USA as N4545A) as a tricycle-undercarriage Caribbean (Tri-Pacer); the nosewheel was removed and the main gear turned round backwards to make it a tail-dragger. This changes the landing charactreristics but saves weight, and I think it makes it look better. It is owned by Alan Cuttler of Wokingham and kept (in immaculate condition) here at Oaksey Park.
