Guy Westgate’s 1993 Swift is seen here during the concluding stages of a display at the Kemble Air Day by the ‘Swift Glider Team’, which comprised a Silence Twister accompanying the Halton Gliding Club Pawnee which towed the Swift whilst it performed rolls as it was towed to a height at which it could be released – its subsequent aerobatic sequence was breathtaking and probably the best air display item I’ve seen in 43 years of air shows
