Remarks: This plane had left Malta earlier for Germany.A Lufthansa Airbus A300-600 aircraft made an emergency landing at Malta Airport on Tuesday afternoon after reporting a fire in its cargo hold.the aircraft made a safe landing. Passengers were evacuated via the stairs and there were no injuries.There was no sign of fire.The plane later taxied towards the terminal under its own power with a fire engine behind it.

Nicely caught Mark... quite an exciting event. Certainly got busy around the airport. You caught it well! I read in the newspaper the next day it was nothing more than a faulty light on the flightdeck.
