Normally I wouldn't shoot an aircraft tied down on the ramp, but the backdrop at this airport was tempting. You can tell that the taixways and runways are elevated behind the GA ramp. That makes a challenge for spotting as approaching aircraft go below the hills, which are actually taxiways, as they near touchdown. However, spotting here is very interesting, and you can get pretty close to the action. Though the runway is angled away from the GA ramp, so while aircraft on final are easy to shoot, departures are not.
