Notes:

Taken shortly after the best flight I've ever had! Having seen a couple of Dakota's in the air I've long thought she was the most beautiful machine ever to fly and I never imagined I'd get the chance to actually experience one, and what an experience it was; very unlike the 737's and A319's I'm more used to. The engines roared with a beautiful musical quality, the single skin sides of the aircraft rattled and were freezing cold to touch, you could feel and sense every slight breeze. It was the most uncomfortable, loudest, most simple and yet most jaw droppingly awesome thing I've ever left the ground on. My first flight on a 747 was fantastic and I loved every minute of it, but frankly, that doesn't even come close to flying on the Dakota. Thank you so much Classic Flight!
