I am sorry for the mistake, that is what was given to me, but I understand that there was a mistake and that is a backup & support airplane.
"Air Force 2" is the call sign for a plane with the US Vice President. It's not the additional plane that flies with the President's party. AF2's are usually on a C-32, the military equivalent for a B757-200. Any plane carrying the President is AF1.
