Notes:

A2-296 was delivered to the RAAF in November of 1963. Served with the RAAF 5th Squadron before being transferred to the Army’s 171 Squadron, 1st Aviation Regiment. Arrived at Archerfield from RAAF Edinburgh after a short time with the ARDU on the 12/12/07. Note the Air Force titles applied to the nose. According to the ADF-Serials website, this aircraft is expected to be the last Huey flown by an RAAF crew. Here she is parked next to the hangar with her sistership A2-484. Will be prepared for storage and trucked to Camp Damascus, Meeandah.
