Notes:

The first 777-300ER for Cathay featuring an all-new cabin including these revolutionary economy class seats. They may look a bit average but the amazing thing is that the seat backs are rigid. No longer will the person infront of you annoy you by reclining their seat. The recline is cleverly built into to the seat cushions themselves so the person behind always has a straight seat back infront of them. As a result, there is effectively more room!! fantastic! Note also the new type of seatbelt. As the seat infront of you is now hard plastic, the seatbelts have airbags built into them to protect the passengers in case of an accident. very clever.

I don't doubt that CX was not the first for the airbag seatbelts. Even within CX these are not new...the A340-600 has had them since they joined our fleet a few years ago.

Actually SQ was the first to introduce airbags seat belts. Nice picture.

CX is always a leader, no matter in seats and airbags. Wonderful.
