Quite a surprise sighting for me and my first sight of a MA-60. Merpati has ordered around 15 of what is essentially an upgraded Y-7, which in turn is a derivative of the Antonov-24 family. China has a growing number of orders for the MA-60 from Asian and African countries although many of them are probably political obligations in return for monetary aid from China.
