This Tiger belonged to Neville Duke, who sadly died this day. Neville was taken ill as he was flying to Popham on Saturday 7, where he was seen by the emergency services.Sqn Ldr Neville Duke flew 485 sorties with 28 combat kills in WW2. In 1953 as a test pilot for Hawker he broke the then world air speed record of 727.63mph.
