IB764 (MAD-PMI) ... as you might tell from the shadows on the ground, the sun was still high in the sky so the only way our shadow could line up with us was in a very steep bank attitude. This shot was one of a series taken during three tight 360 degree turns made in a figure-of-eight pattern, which began at just 3km (2 miles) from PMI runway 24L. Photography while we were 'pulling G' during those manoeuvres wasn't easy so I'm really pleased to have captured the one moment when it all came together - and a landing I'll never forget! ( 18mm, F7.1 @ 1/640sec. )
