This Hawk 128 ‘AJT’ demonstrator had been scheduled to arrive at Valley during the morning for inspection by 4FTS personnel before being flown back to Warton by the Chief of the Air Staff. However, its arrival was delayed until late afternoon, and an unservicability led to its remaining at Valley over night. It is pictured here on the 208 Sqn flight line as the sun sets.
