Remarks: Electrifying! Avoiding thunderstorms near Karlsruhe on our flight from Brussels to Athens. Despite the turbulence, it produced a nice picture. (shutter time: 4 seconds, tripod used). Not sure how to call this: static discharges? Saint Elmo's fire? Arcing? Anyway, very interesting!
Hi Stefan,
I think this picture is mind blowing. Good job! Can you please send me some in-flight pictures that you may have. I would be extremely interested in seeing them judging the quality from this one. Thanks again. Bye
It is Saint Elmo's fire.
Is nice too put your hand near the windshield and see 'em come to the position of your fingers
awesome photo!

Wow! Low energy quantum phenomena up in the stratosphere. Why does this do what it does? The mysteries deepen. As an earth-bound diabetic I am in awe of you aviators up where the shamans fly. Bless you all!
