At the exact moment when gravity is overcome, we can see that it took 8 thousand feet to accomplish this. Wintertime is a great season to shoot from the Imperial Hill, as the sun takes a southerly rout across the Northern Hemisphere, and illuminates the 25 complex perfectly. Swiss is old favorite at LAX, and just recently started flying A340's here. But we'll never forget their majestic MD-11 that graced LAX for so many years.
