Parked on the end of runway 31, it seems like this DC-10 will end its days like most other airliners flown to Kemble over the last few years - cut up for scrap! Shame!

XV864 made its first flight on the 19th of June 1968 and was delivered to the Royal Navy in September of the same year

The forward fuselage is now on display at the RAF Museum Manston
