Remarks: NSAWC F-18C "31" waits to depart on it's mission, with a VFC-13 F-5N Aggressor taxying in the distance. This aircraft was previously the CAG bird with VFA-136 and can be seen as such in a previous JetPhoto image taken in 2007.
Remarks: A sharp turn-in whilst in the circuit at Waddington, with the sun catching her fuselage, this wonderful airframe belies the fact that she was delivered to Sabena, as OO-SJN, almost 49 years ago! After sterling work for the Belgian national carrier she was sold to Jet 24 as N3286S before taking up the marks that we see her in today. A truly wonderful reminder of how noisy, smoky, aircraft used to be.
